International maritime trade fair, SMM Hamburg celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. The show featured 2,000 exhibitors from all technology areas in the maritime industry and more than 30,000 visitors from over 100 nations. 

Artemis Technologies attended SMM Hamburg as part of UK Pavilion led by Department for International Trade and Society of Maritime Industries. The UK delegation showcased some of the best UK Maritime technologies and included representatives from Silverstream Technologies, CyberOwl and Lloyd's Register. 

During Maritime UK’s Future Maritime Technologies seminar, Artemis Technologies’ Commercial Director, David Tyler presented a session “America’s Cup to Artemis eFoiler® Electric Propulsion”. David’s talk covered how Artemis Technologies has harnessed America’s Cup high-performance foiling technology to design and develop commercially viable zero-emissions high-speed vessels and drive maritime decarbonisation. 

David Tyler commented:

It was great to attend this year’s SMM Hamburg, to engage with peers across the industry, to share insights into Artemis Technologies ongoing product development and to hear from other British innovators. I would like to thank Department for International Trade and Society of Maritime Industries for organising and hosting Artemis Technologies as part of their seminar.
