Building a world where innovative transport and ecological stewardship go hand in hand.
Dr Iain Percy OBE, CEO
Artemis, often depicted with a bow and arrow, was not just a huntress but also a guardian of the natural world.
The emblem of Artemis serves as a constant reminder of our dedication to the environment and sustainability, and our mission to help decarbonise the maritime industry.
Our Artemis eFoiler® system is the world's first commercially-viable, zero emission propulsion solution for high speed maritime transport.
This patented technology powers all our 100% electric vessels, helping operators to meet growing industry demand to cut CO2 emissions within maritime transport.
Our flagship product, the patented Artemis eFoiler®, will reduce vessel emissions to zero, at point of use. This aligns with global climate change mitigation efforts and supports several UN Sustainable Development Goals.
As green energy generation increases, in particular offshore wind, our zero-emission technology ensures that in the running and maintenance of these essential activities we don’t add to the output of GHG emissions.
Leading the Belfast Maritime Consortium, we’re creating a new high-tech maritime innovation hub and advanced manufacturing cluster, creating 1,000 jobs over the next decade.
Powered by our Artemis eFoiler®, our Smart Mobility vessels can provide a readily accessible solution that is cheaper and quicker to install than new infrastructure such as a new road or rail line.
By developing maritime transport vessels which produce zero emissions, such as ferries and water taxis, we are enabling communities around the world to utilise their waterways, connecting communities and opening new economic opportunities.
Energised by the fight against climate change, Artemis Technologies has a mission to lead the decarbonisation of maritime Our Artemis eFoiler® technology reduces vessel emissions to zero, at point of use, removing the need for heavy emitting maritime transport.
Electric propulsion removes air and water pollution and reduces noise. The reduced wake produced by the Artemis eFoiler® protects environmentally sensitive waterways and marine habitats.
Artemis Technologies is proud to partner with the UK Department for Transport and the ORE Catapult in 'Operation Zero', a groundbreaking initiative announced at COP26. This coalition of 28 industry leaders aims to fast-track the decarbonisation of offshore wind operations and maintenance vessels in the North Sea.
The vision of ‘Operation Zero’ was informed by previous research undertaken by ORE Catapult and the Workboat Association. It aims for zero-emission vessels to be deployed at North Sea offshore windfarms by 2025, supported by land-side infrastructure solutions needed to upscale and maintain the operation of the vessels.
The Artemis EF-24 Passenger balances the requirement for people to continue to move around with the need to reduce carbon emissions.
The passenger ferry allows cities across the globe to address congestion, reduce harmful emissions and improve overall transportation efficiency.
Together with our partners, we are shaping the future landscape of the maritime industry with transformative solutions - striving for greater sustainability, and the economic growth it provides.
